Spring Staycation Retreat

Adventure Is Barking has had unforgettable adventures on our pack retreats to Duluth. The fun was continuous and we couldn't stay away! Don’t feel bad if you missed out on the adventures, your next chance to have some fun with us has arrived. This year we want to try something a bit different and a little closer to home. It’s an Adventure Is Barking staycation!

With the opportunity to utilize the stunning spring and scenery we have here in Wayzata, we have exciting adventures on the itinerary this year. Join us on the “Pawtio” of Duke’s On 7! Grab a cocktail for yourself and a “Woof Woof Bowl” for your dog! (Organic brown jasmine rice sauteed with power greens, topped with a sunny side up egg, and drizzled with coconut woof woof sauce.) The “Pawtio” is open year-round serving up our 3-course dog menu! Complimentary water, yoga mat and woofer treat for pups.

Hike Purgatory Park with us! This 155-acre nature park along Purgatory Creek features paved trails, a picnic shelter & more. This is a 2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Minnetonka that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round.

Want a little more of a challenging adventure? Have you always wanted to learn how to paddle board with your dog but never felt it was the right opportunity? The time has come! Sara Spevacek and Adventure Is Barking will cover everything you and your dog need to know in order to enjoy the lakes from a paddle board this summer. Join us on Lake Minnetonka for amusing tips and tricks to maximize your excitement on the water.

Friday 4/29

1. Training Pack Walk around Excelsior & Yappy Hour @ Excelsior Brewing. Meet at 5:00PM

Saturday 4/30

       2. Training Pack Walk in the Morning @ Purgatory (walk rain or shine) - Unmapped Brewing. Potluck style for Unmapped - Bring something shareable for the group. Meet at 11:00AM

       3. Beach & Try-It Paddle Boarding & Back Channel Brewing - Food Truck for Dinner. Meet at 4:00PM

Sunday 5/1 

      4. Obedience class on Wayzata Panoway & Brunch on Duke's on 7 patio. Meet at 10:00AM

Individual Ticket: $40 (1-4)

Whole Weekend Retreat: $100

You may purchase tickets to a single event (1,2,3 or 4) or you may purchase the whole weekend package. This allows you to join us for all 4 events!
