Level 1: Basic Manners/CGC Prep

Basic Manners/ CGC Prep is a 6 week class designed for dogs with no previous formal training.  We will use primarily positive reinforcement training techniques to teach the dogs to sit, down, stay, come, leave it,  focus, settle,  touch as well as how to walk nicely on leash (no pulling) and greet people and other dogs politely.  We will also start on the the basics for the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Program

This is a great training starting point for dogs’ ages 10 weeks and up.

Prerequisite: Friendly dogs who have current vaccines appropriate for their age

Class dates will be: 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, and 8/24
