JJ Hill Days Back To School Drop In Obedience Class

On Saturday, September 11th as a part of James J Hill Days Adventure Is Barking will be hosting drop in obedience classes at the Depot Dog Park. This is located at the Wayzata Panoway, which is directly outside of Cov. 

These drop in obedience classes are designed for dogs with no previous formal training.  We will use primarily positive reinforcement training techniques to teach the dogs to sit, down, stay, come, leave it,  focus, settle, touch as well as how to walk nicely on leash (no pulling) and greet people and other dogs politely. We will also start on the the basics for the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Program.

This is a great training starting point for dogs’ ages 10 weeks and up.

Prerequisite: Friendly dogs who have current vaccines appropriate for their age.

These are drop in classes and therefore require no formal sign up. However, if you would like to reserve a spot you may do so. 

Each of these classes will be 45 minutes long. The first class will be SATURDAY from 9:00AM - 9:45AM, the second class is from 10:00AM - 10:45AM and the third class is on SUNDAY from 2:00PM - 2:45PM.
