Let’s Fill the Lake Walk with Dogs!

There’s nothing more “Lake Life” than a morning stroll along the shores of Lake Minnetonka — and now your pup can be part of the tradition! Join us for the First Annual James J. Hill Days Dog Pack Walks, a special new event celebrating community, connection, and of course, our four-legged friends.

📅 When:

• Saturday, September 6 at 10:00 AM

• Sunday, September 7 at 10:00 AM

📍 Where: Meet at the Depot Dog Park – the grassy area west of the 9/11 Memorial on the Wayzata Panoway.

We’ll set off together along the scenic Lake Walk, filling the shoreline with wagging tails and happy faces. Along the way, professional trainer Sara Madrinich of Adventure is Barking will share practical training tips and tricks to help you and your dog walk in harmony. All ages, breeds, and training levels are welcome — this is about community, confidence, and fun.

✨ All dogs and training levels are welcome! Whether you’re polishing manners or just enjoying the stroll, this walk is for you.

📝 Registration: Advance registration is available but not required — just come and join in.

🚫 Please note: Retractable leashes are not permitted. For everyone’s safety, bring a standard 4–6 ft leash.
