Dog Training On The Lake

For those who don't know, our focus at Adventure is Barking™ is dog training outside of the classroom setting. This allows us to create real world distractions, so that your dog is trained no matter what setting you are in. What better way to do that than training on the lake this winter? 

Join Adventure is Barking™ on Lake Minnetonka! Sara, Owner of Adventure is Barking, will be hosting a Free Basic Obedience Class for all age dogs and all levels of training. These drop in obedience classes are designed for dogs with no previous formal training. We will use primarily positive reinforcement training techniques to teach the dogs to sit, down, stay, come, leave it,  focus, settle, touch as well as how to walk nicely on leash (no pulling) and greet people and other dogs politely. We will also start on the basics for the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Program.

This is a great training starting point for dogs’ ages 10 weeks and up.

Prerequisite: Friendly dogs who have current vaccines appropriate for their age.
