About Our Staff
Hello! My name is Karleton! This is my dog Harmon. Harmon is a 7 month old Cream Golden. My fiancé Holly and I will always cherish our Staffordshire Terrier, Boxer, Bulldog, Lab Mix named Moose who is no longer with us. My responsibility at Adventure Is Barking is mainly revolved around Social Media & Marketing. I love meeting new dogs & new people! I'm passionate about bully breed mutts and raw food education. My dream someday is to own a ranch down in New Orleans, Louisiana with enough space to rescue older dogs that might not ever have a chance at a loving home and give them one! I can't wait to meet you and your dog(s)!
Hi, I’m Kati and these are my dogs, Rupert and Merida. Rupert (or Roo as we call him) is a five year old Siberian Husky, Pit Bull, Labrador and Chow Chow mix. Merida is a nine year old Cocker Spaniel and Cavalier mix. I also have three senior cats, a turtle and multiple rats, lizards, snakes and arachnids. Oh, and two rambunctious human boys! I’ve never had a job that didn’t involve people and pets. I worked in two independent pet stores as a teenager, spent eleven years at a large animal welfare organization and seven years managing a retail pet supply store. I’m passionate about wildlife, pet nutrition and the human/animal bond. I love helping people have a positive, happy pet ownership experience. For Adventure is Barking, I do whatever is needed to support Sara, Mckayla, Jessica and Karleton. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your dog!
Hey! My name is McKayla! My dogs are Thor and Vulcan. Thor is a 7 year old American Bully, and Vulcan is a 9 month old Pitbull/German Shepherd/Lab mix. I have always loved animals, and I have been in the pet industry for a little over 10 years. I am most passionate about training and pet health and wellness. My dream is to one day have my own boarding facility so I can continue to play with dogs all day as a career. My responsibility at Adventure is Barking is training and supporting the needs of Sara as well as other staff members. I’m very excited to meet you and your dog(s)!
Hello, my name is Jessica. I am the newest member of the Adventure is Barking pack. I've always had pets growing up and, of course, that meant the family dog. One of my proudest moments is when I adopted my first rescue in 2007, Conrad (pictured above). He was a chow chow/golden retriever mix and my partner in crime for 13 years. He is no longer with us, but his memory and impact are with me forever. I have a passion for dogs living their best lives! My role with Adventure is Barking is training and assisting with the day-to-day needs of Sara and my other wonderful pack members. I look forward to meeting you and your pup pups!!!
